Savory Greek beef stroganoff with mushrooms, sour cream, and egg noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package egg noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Greek seasoning (such as Cavender's®)
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (16 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 pint sour cream
Instructions:
  • Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook egg noodles until al dente, about 7 to 9 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until crumbly for 5 to 7 minutes. Discard the grease and season the beef with Greek seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Cook and stir mushrooms until tender, about 5 minutes, then add to the ground beef.
  • Combine luscious sour cream with savory ground beef; cook until hot for about 5 minutes. Serve over tender egg noodles.
