"My signature speedy and savory tuna melt, a longtime favorite!"
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • 2 teaspoons chopped dill pickle
  • 0.25 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and toast the bread slices while you prepare the tuna salad.
  • Combine tuna, mayonnaise, salt, balsamic vinegar, mustard, and dill pickle in a small bowl until fully mixed. Fill one slice of bread with the tuna mixture and top the other slice with cheese after removing from the oven.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tuna is heated through. Place the cheesy side of the sandwich over the tuna, slice in half, and serve promptly.
