Tender sirloin beef tips in a savory red wine tomato sauce served over buttered noodles for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1.5 pounds beef sirloin steak, cut into cubes
  • 1 (16 ounce) can mushrooms, with liquid
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 0.75 cup red wine, or more to taste
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the beef on all sides for 5 to 7 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Combine mushrooms with their flavorful liquid, along with tomato sauce, red wine, salt, and pepper. Let the mixture simmer until the beef is tender, approximately 30 minutes. Optionally, add a splash more wine for extra flavor. Check for doneness by ensuring the beef reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C) for medium doneness.
