Try this delicious and satisfying beef skillet dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1 pound beef boneless sirloin steak, 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/2 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh or 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
Instructions:
  • Fry bacon in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until crispy. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and place on paper towels to drain. Keep 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the skillet.
  • Cut the beef into 4 serving pieces and sprinkle with seasoned salt. Sear the beef in bacon fat in a skillet over medium heat for about 6 minutes, flipping once, until cooked to your liking. Remove the beef from the skillet and cover to keep warm.
  • Combine the broth, mustard, thyme, and onions in a skillet. Simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened. Pour the sauce over the beef and garnish with crispy bacon before serving.
