Succulent sirloin with tangy sauce, atop spinach and twirled noodles - a delicious, healthy meal in minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. (5 cups) uncooked extra-wide egg noodles
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb. boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into thin bite-sized strips
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
  • 1 (6-oz.) pkg. prewashed fresh baby spinach (about 7 cups)
Instructions:
  • Prepare the noodles according to package instructions and then drain them.
  • In a medium bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, and beef strips until well coated. Heat oil in a wok or 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef mixture and stir-fry for 5 to 6 minutes until beef is cooked through.
  • In a medium bowl, combine broth, cornstarch, oyster sauce, and gingerroot until it forms a smooth mixture. Transfer to the wok and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Add spinach to the beef mixture and stir-fry for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the spinach wilts slightly.
  • Mix the cooked noodles and beef mixture in a large serving bowl until well coated.
