Discover the magic of making fudge in your slow cooker for a creamy texture without seizing chocolate.
Ingredients:
  • 30g unsalted butter, chopped
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 600g Caramilk chocolate, broken into squares
  • 60ml (1/4 cup) Irish Cream Liqueur
Instructions:
  • Start by setting your slow cooker to the Low setting. Place the butter in the bottom of the slow cooker and let it partially melt to grease the base of the bowl.
  • Combine condensed milk and chocolate in the slow cooker and cook for 20 minutes to melt the chocolate. Stir every 15 minutes for an hour, until smooth. Then, stir in Baileys.
  • Line a 20cm square cake pan with baking paper, leaving extra paper on the sides. Once the fudge is done, spoon it into the pan. Let it cool for 30 minutes before refrigerating for 6 hours until firm.
  • Gently lift the fudge using the baking paper, then cut it into squares. Store the squares in an airtight container in the fridge.
