Make fudge in the slow cooker for foolproof results. The gentle heat prevents chocolate from seizing, so you can stir occasionally while multitasking.
Ingredients:
  • 30g unsalted butter, chopped
  • 395g can top ’n’ fill caramel
  • 600g white chocolate, broken into squares
Instructions:
  • Preheat the slow cooker on Low setting. Spread the butter in the bottom of the slow cooker and let it melt slightly to grease the base.
  • Place the top ’n’ fill and chocolate in the slow cooker. Cook for 20 minutes to melt the chocolate. Stir every 15 minutes and cook for an additional hour until smooth and well combined.
  • Prepare a 20cm square cake pan by lining it with baking paper, allowing the paper to overhang the sides. Once the fudge is done, transfer it to the pan using a large spoon. Let it cool for approximately 30 minutes, then refrigerate for 6 hours or until firm.
  • Lift the fudge from the pan using the baking paper, cut into squares, and refrigerate in an airtight container.
