Hearty slow cooker beef chili with beans and veggies for a delicious and effortless meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 0.75 cup diced onion
  • 0.75 cup diced celery
  • 0.75 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 (10.75 ounce) cans tomato puree
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans with liquid
  • 0.5 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.75 teaspoon dried basil
  • 0.75 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.125 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Instructions:
  • Brown beef in a skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes until cooked through. Remove excess grease after cooking.
  • Place the beef in a slow cooker and combine with onion, celery, bell pepper, garlic, tomato puree, kidney beans, and cannellini beans. Season generously with chili powder, salt, basil, oregano, parsley, black pepper, and hot pepper sauce.
  • Slow cook covered for 8 hours on Low heat.
  • Savor while piping hot.
