Slow Cooker Cured Venison and Beans

Tender cured venison with green beans, served with creamy Idahoan Signature™ Russets Mashed Potatoes for a simple and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds cured venison
  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1 (9.74 ounce) package Idahoan Signature™ Russets Mashed Potatoes
Instructions:
  • In the slow cooker, combine cured venison, beans, water, and onion salt. Cook on low for 3 1/2 hours.
  • Take out the venison from the slow cooker and cut it into bite-sized pieces, discarding the bones. Return the meat to the slow cooker and cook until tender for about 30 more minutes.
  • Follow the package instructions to make Idahoan Signature™ Russets Mashed Potatoes, then serve alongside the venison and beans.
