Korean-inspired slow cooker beef roast with sweet and tangy flavors, finished with a spicy kick from jalapenos.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (4 pound) beef roast
  • 5 whole jalapeno peppers, or more to taste
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup water
Instructions:
  • In a sizzling skillet, sear the beef roast until perfectly caramelized, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
  • Place the roast into a slow cooker, then add jalapenos. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, and water, and pour the mixture over the roast.
  • Slow cook the roast on a low setting, turning occasionally, until it is tender, for approximately 8 hours.
