Overnight slow cooker steel-cut oats with sweet apples and raisins ready to enjoy in the morning.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 1 cup peeled and chopped apple
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a slow cooker, mix together water, steel-cut oats, apple, raisins, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla until sugar is dissolved. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours until oats are tender and creamy. For a softer texture, cook for 8 hours. Use the Warm setting if your slow cooker is on the hotter side.
