Succulent slow cooker pork chops infused with paprika, garlic, and oregano in a flavorful broth - a family favorite!
Ingredients:
  • 4 thick cut boneless pork chops
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1½ teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions:
  • Score the pork chops with a diamond pattern using the tip of a knife, then season with salt and pepper.
  • Combine paprika, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, oregano, and basil in a medium bowl. Take out 2 teaspoons of the mixture and generously rub onto pork chops, making sure to work it into the slits.
  • Combine the broth and garlic with the remaining spice mix by gently whisking them together.
  • Transfer the broth mixture into a 6-quart slow cooker, then place the seasoned chops on top.
  • Cook on High, basting with sauce occasionally, until slightly pink in the center, about 1 hour and 40 minutes. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches at least 145°F (63°C).
  • Indulge in the dish while it's piping hot!
