Ingredients:
  • 4 bone-in pork loin chops (about 2 lb)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 can (18 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics creamy mushroom soup
  • 1 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
  • Season the pork chops with pepper and garlic, then place them in a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker. Pour soup over the pork chops.
  • Cover and simmer on Low heat for 7 to 8 hours until the pork is tender enough to shred with a fork. Transfer the pork chops from the slow cooker to a plate and cover to retain heat.
  • Prepare the rice following the package instructions and set it aside. Combine cornstarch with water. Mix the cornstarch mixture into the mushroom sauce in the slow cooker. Let it heat in the slow cooker for 5 minutes. Serve the sauce over the pork chops and rice when ready.
