Set it and forget it - succulent BBQ pork roast slow-cooked to perfection with a blend of flavorful condiments and spices.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 (4 pound) pork shoulder roast
Instructions:
  • Combine celery, BBQ sauce, ketchup, onion, water, garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker. Add the roast to the mixture, cover, and cook on Low for 7 hours or High for 5 hours.
  • Transfer the roast to a cutting board and expertly shred the tender meat using two forks. Return the succulent meat to the slow cooker, mix it with the flavorful liquid, and allow it to cook for an additional hour to enhance the rich flavors.
