Elevate your Caribbean night with smooth and flavorful black beans as the perfect side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cans (15 ounces each) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimientos, drained
Instructions:
  • Combine all the ingredients in a 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 5 to 6 hours to enhance and meld flavors perfectly.
