Slow-cooker gingerbread cafe latte

Impress with Gingerbread Cafe Latte at your winter dinner party.
Ingredients:
  • 2l milk
  • 80ml golden syrup
  • 15g coffee powder
  • 7.50 gm ground ginger
  • 3.75 gm ground cinnamon
  • 1.25 gm ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • Whipped cream, to serve
  • Golden syrup, extra, to drizzle
  • Crumbled gingernut biscuits, to sprinkle (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a slow cooker, mix together milk, golden syrup, coffee, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and allspice. Cook on low, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour until coffee dissolves and mixture is heated through.
  • Divide the mixture into individual serving glasses. Garnish with a dollop of whipped cream, a drizzle of extra golden syrup, and a sprinkle of crushed gingernut biscuit, if desired.
