Indulge in a delectable Betty Crocker slow cooker sandwich.
Ingredients:
  • 2-lb beef boneless arm roast, trimmed of fat
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) Italian-seasoned diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 8 hoagie buns, toasted if desired
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (8 oz)
Instructions:
  • Remove any netting or strings from the beef roast. Place onions in a 4- to 5-quart slow cooker. Put the beef on top of the onions. In a small bowl, combine diced tomatoes and tomato paste, then pour the mixture over the beef.
  • Gently cover and allow to simmer on Low heat for 8 to 10 hours.
  • Transfer the beef from the cooker to a cutting board and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded beef to the cooker, then spoon approximately 1/2 cup of the beef mixture onto each bun and sprinkle each with 1/4 cup of cheese.
