Succulent slow-cooked pork loin ribs with pineapple, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and ginger. A taste of Island flavors for a satisfying dinner.
Ingredients:
  • Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liners
  • 2 lb boneless country-style pork loin ribs
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 1 can (8 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated gingerroot
  • Hot cooked rice, if desired
Instructions:
  • Carefully line the 5- to 6 1/2 -qt slow cooker bowl with a Reynolds™ Slow Cooker Liner, ensuring a snug fit against the bottom and sides. Pull the top of the liner over the rim of the bowl securely.
  • Add the pork ribs, garlic, and onion to the slow cooker. Pour half of the pineapple with some of the juice over the ribs, setting aside the rest for later.
  • Cover and simmer on Low heat setting for 8 to 10 hours.
  • 35 minutes before serving, remove cooking juices from slow cooker and clean the edges. In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, gingerroot, and the remaining pineapple juice. Pour this mixture evenly over the ribs. Increase heat to High, cover, and cook for another 25 to 30 minutes until the ribs are nicely glazed. Serve with rice.
