Decadently rich and irresistibly gooey cake.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
  • 3 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup
  • 20 Reese's peanut butter cups miniatures, unwrapped and cut in half
Instructions:
  • Prepare the oval slow cooker with cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, water, eggs, 1/2 cup peanut butter, and butter using an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then increase to medium speed for 2 minutes while scraping the bowl.
  • Transfer 2/3 cup of the batter to a separate bowl; mix in 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup to create a luscious chocolate fudge batter.
  • Layer half of the peanut butter batter into the slow cooker, then add all of the chocolate fudge batter on top. Finish by adding the rest of the peanut butter batter. Use a knife to create a swirl by making circular motions.
  • Cook covered on High heat for 1 hour 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Turn off the slow cooker, uncover, and transfer the ceramic base to a cooling rack. Allow it to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar until well combined. Adjust consistency by adding up to 1 more tablespoon of milk gradually. Spread the peanut butter glaze over the cake, drizzle with chocolate syrup, and sprinkle with peanut butter cups.
