Delicious slow-cooked pork ribs in tangy barbecue sauce - a mouthwatering meal!
Ingredients:
  • 3 1/2 lb pork loin back ribs or pork spareribs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 1/3 cups barbecue sauce
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 5- to 6-quart slow cooker by spraying it with cooking spray. Cut the ribs into 2- or 3-rib portions and place them in the cooker. Season the ribs with salt and pepper, then add water to the cooker.
  • Cook on Low heat setting for 6 to 7 hours, until tender. Remove ribs from the cooker and transfer to a shallow baking pan. Discard cooking liquid.
  • Coat both sides of the ribs with delicious barbecue sauce. Place the ribs back into the cooker and drizzle any extra sauce on top. Cover and cook on Low heat for about 1 hour, or until the ribs are beautifully glazed and the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
