Slow cook these pork ribs for a tender and flavorful meal without the hassle.
Ingredients:
  • 10.00 gm smoked paprika
  • 10.00 gm ground cumin
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 112.50 gm 30% Sugar Reduced Tomato Sauce
  • 85.80 gm tomato sauce
  • 40.00 ml white wine vinegar
  • 110.55 gm golden syrup
  • 2kg American-style pork ribs
  • Extra barbecue sauce, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix paprika, cumin, oregano, and garlic powder. Stir in the sauces, vinegar, and golden syrup. Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Cut the ribs into pieces that fit in the slow cooker. Alternate layering the ribs and sauce in the slow cooker, ending with the sauce on top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.
  • Preheat the grill on high. Arrange the ribs on a large foil-lined baking tray and generously spoon over some of the savory sauce from the slow cooker. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes until the ribs develop a delicious char and caramelization. Serve the ribs with an extra drizzle of barbecue sauce.
