Ingredients:
  • 1 can (15 oz) spicy chili beans in sauce, undrained
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
  • 1 1/2 lb turkey thighs, skin removed
  • 1 packet (1 oz) Old El Paso™ Original Taco Seasoning Mix
  • 1/2 cup thick & chunky salsa
  • 1 box (4.6 oz) Old El Paso™ Crunchy Taco Shells (12 Count)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions:
  • Place chili beans and onion in a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Layer turkey on top, then season with taco seasoning and spoon salsa over everything.
  • Cover and simmer over Low heat for 7 to 9 hours.
  • Place the turkey on a cutting board and remove the meat from the bones, discarding the bones. Using 2 forks, shred the turkey and stir it into the bean mixture in the cooker.
  • - Follow package instructions to heat taco shells. - Fill taco shells with turkey mixture. - Garnish with lettuce, tomato, and cheese.
