Succulent smoked pork chops with a perfect sweet, salty, and smoky homemade rub. Elevate your pork chop game!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1.5 teaspoons light brown sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon oregano
  • 6 bone-in center-cut pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
Instructions:
  • Preheat the smoker to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and add wood chips as instructed by the manufacturer.
  • In a small bowl, mix salt, brown sugar, pepper, paprika, ground mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano until blended. Season both sides of each pork chop with the mixture.
  • Smoke the pork chops on the grate for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Rest the chops for 10 minutes after removing them from the smoker.
