Revamp your salad with the timeless Japanese duo of avocado and salmon for a healthy twist.
Ingredients:
  • 24.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 2 avocados, peeled and sliced
  • 200g baby spinach leaves
  • 300g smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 62.50 ml mirin
  • 65.63 gm reduced-salt soy sauce
  • 20.00 gm caster sugar
  • 36.80 gm vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • Toast sesame seeds in a frying pan over medium heat, stirring frequently, until golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
  • For the dressing, simply mix the ingredients in a frying pan and heat over medium-high heat until it starts bubbling, which should take about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Plate avocado and spinach beautifully, layer with salmon, then generously drizzle with dressing, sprinkle with toasted seeds, and present for a delightful meal.
