Whip up a delicious smoked salmon and avocado wonton bites appetizer in just 30 minutes for the ultimate holiday party starter.
Ingredients:
  • Vegetable oil, to shallow-fry
  • 15 wonton wrappers, quartered
  • 185g pkt hot-smoked salmon, flaked
  • 1 avocado, stoned, peeled, finely chopped
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber, seeded, finely chopped
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped chives
Instructions:
  • Pour oil into a medium frying pan, making sure it comes 1cm up the side of the pan. Heat over medium heat. Cook wonton pieces in batches, turning occasionally, until golden brown and puffed, about 1 minute. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel.
  • Combine the salmon, avocado, onion, cucumber, lemon juice, and chives in a medium bowl. Season to taste.
  • Present the wonton pieces on a stylish platter and promptly serve with the delectable salmon mixture.
