Indulge in a heavenly smoked salmon pizza with crispy base, cream cheese, dill, and capers - perfect for a light meal or entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 332.50 ml Bread & Pizza Plain Flour, plus extra for dusting
  • 1 1/2 tsp instant dried yeast
  • 1.20 gm salt
  • 150ml warm water
  • 9.20 gm extra virgin olive oil, plus extra to serve
  • 12.00 gm sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 125g cream cheese, softened
  • 20.00 ml chopped fresh dill, plus extra sprigs to serve
  • 200g thinly sliced smoked salmon
  • 1/4 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 20.00 ml baby capers, rinsed
  • 1/4 lemon, peeled, finely chopped
  • 50g baby rocket
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Pour in water and oil. Stir until combined. Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface. Knead until smooth. Place dough in a large, greased bowl. Cover with greased plastic wrap. Let dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  • 1. Preheat the oven to 240C/220C fan-forced and grease a 20cm x 30cm lamington pan with oil. 2. Punch down the dough, then place it in the prepared pan. 3. Use oiled hands to press the dough out to the edges of the pan. 4. Sprinkle the dough with seeds and bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden. 5. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before carefully turning it top-side up onto a board or platter.
  • In a bowl, mix cream cheese and dill. Spoon small dollops of the cream cheese mixture onto the pizza base. Add salmon, onion, capers, and lemon on top. Season with salt and pepper, then drizzle with extra oil. Finish with rocket and more dill. Serve right away.
