Savory smoked sausage, tender potatoes, tangy sauerkraut, ale, and mustard in one skillet for a flavorful German-inspired meal.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (14 ounce) package Hillshire Farm® Smoked Sausage, diagonally cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced into 1-inch pieces
  • 12 fluid ounces your favorite ale
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons whole-grain mustard
Instructions:
  • Sear sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 3 minutes, turning occasionally. Then, set aside.
  • Cook potatoes in skillet with a generous amount of oil until they turn golden brown.
  • Combine ale, sauerkraut, and mustard with potatoes in a skillet, stirring until well mixed. Sauté over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
  • Add the sausage back to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
