Create mouthwatering smoky beef brisket without a bbq smoker.
Ingredients:
  • 141.25 gm smoky bbq sauce
  • 62.50 ml bourbon
  • 3 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 5.00 gm smoked paprika
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1.3kg No Added Hormone Beef Brisket
Instructions:
  • In a 20cm x 30cm baking dish, mix together BBQ sauce, bourbon, garlic, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Add brisket and fully coat it with the mixture. Cover and marinate in the fridge for 4 hours or overnight for best results. Before cooking, allow the brisket to come to room temperature.
  • Preheat the oven to 160C or 140C fan-forced. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 4 1/2 hours, turning the beef halfway through, until very tender and the sauce has caramelized.
