Cinnamon sugar dessert bread with a twist, featuring cinnamon chips in mini loaves for any occasion.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 (10 ounce) package cinnamon chips (such as HERSHEY'S®)
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
  • 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease 4 mini loaf pans.
  • Using an electric mixer, combine sugar, butter, cinnamon, and salt until fluffy. Incorporate eggs thoroughly. Add sour cream and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, blend flour and baking powder. Add to the egg mixture and mix thoroughly. Fold in the cinnamon chips and pour the batter into 4 mini loaf pans, filling each 2/3 full.
  • Combine the sweetness of 3 tablespoons of sugar with aromatic cinnamon in a small bowl. Sprinkle this delectable topping over the batter in each loaf pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 38 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centers comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pans.
