French-inspired homemade Snickers bars for a deliciously fun treat!
Ingredients:
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, ready-rolled, just thawed
  • 150g snickers bar
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 125.00 ml flaked almonds
  • 125.00 ml Bonne Maman Caramel Spread, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 200C/180C fan forced and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
  • Cut each pastry sheet into quarters. Sprinkle one eighth of the Snickers on one corner of each pastry square. Roll up diagonally to create a log, then shape it into a crescent. Place them on the tray and repeat to make a total of 8 delicious croissants.
  • Brush croissants with a glossy egg wash, sprinkle generously with crunchy almonds, then bake until beautifully puffed and golden. Let them rest on the trays to cool slightly before indulging in their buttery perfection.
  • Heat the caramel in a small saucepan over low heat until it is smooth and runny, which should take about 1-2 minutes.
  • Serve croissants drizzled with luxurious caramel sauce.
