Easy and delicious tangy sourdough pancakes!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup sourdough starter
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 0.33329999446869 cup nonfat dry milk powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your griddle to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and give it a light greasing.
  • In a large bowl, blend the sourdough starter, egg, water, and oil until thoroughly combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix milk powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir the milk powder mixture into the starter mixture until the batter is smooth.
  • Ladle the batter onto the hot griddle to create 8 pancakes. Cook until the bottoms turn golden brown, then flip and cook until the other sides are browned.
