Make 6 freezer-friendly sourdough pizza crusts for quick pizza nights anytime.
Ingredients:
  • 8 cups bread flour
  • 2 cups sourdough starter
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 0.25 cup dry milk powder
  • 4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, sourdough starter, water, oil, sugar, milk powder, yeast, and salt until well combined by hand. Transfer the dough to a stand mixer fitted with a dough hook. Knead for 6 minutes, then let it rest for 6 minutes. Repeat this process 3 times.
  • Place the dough in a greased pan, cover it with plastic wrap, and allow it to rise until it doubles in size, approximately 1 hour.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
  • Divide the dough into 6 equal rounds and allow it to rest for 10 minutes, then roll out each portion to your preferred crust size.
  • Place in the preheated oven for just 5 to 6 minutes. Allow to cool on a rack, then neatly pack in resealable plastic bags with parchment paper between each layer before freezing.
