Spaghetti bolognese recipe

Quick and delicious 5-ingredient family meal ready in just 15 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 500g Cook with Curtis Italian Recipe Beef & Pork Mince
  • 500g jar tomato pasta sauce
  • 300g spaghetti
  • Finely chopped flat-leaf parsley, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat a spacious non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook the mince, stirring regularly to ensure even cooking, for 3 minutes until fully cooked. Pour in pasta sauce and ½ cup (125ml) water. Lower the heat to a simmer, occasionally stirring, for 10 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
  • While you wait, heat a large pot of water over high heat until it boils. Add spaghetti and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes or until al dente. Drain the spaghetti, saving ½ cup (125ml) of the cooking liquid.
  • Toss the spaghetti in the sauce, adding reserved cooking liquid as necessary until coated. Season with salt and pepper, then finish with a sprinkle of parmesan and parsley on top.
