Transform leftovers into a kid-friendly spaghetti and meatball pizza roll using premade pizza dough.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 0.5 teaspoon cornmeal
  • 1 (16 ounce) package prepared pizza dough
  • 1.5 cups cooked spaghetti
  • 0.25 cup spaghetti sauce, or to taste
  • 6 cooked meatballs, chopped - or to taste
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray and dust it gently with cornmeal.
  • Roll out pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to form a 9x12-inch rectangle.
  • Combine spaghetti with sauce until pasta is evenly coated. Place the mixture down the center of the dough rectangle, leaving 1 inch of dough uncovered at the top and bottom. Line up meatballs in the center of the spaghetti. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and spaghetti. Roll dough over the filling, starting from a long edge. Pinch ends and seam tightly shut. Transfer the roll to the baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden and the filling is heated through. Brush the roll with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic salt. Enjoy warm or chilled.
