Delicious and satisfying creamy spaghetti pie, a scrumptious alternative to lasagna. Enjoy with a side of salad and garlic bread.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 0.5 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
  • 0.75 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onions
  • 0.5 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • 1. Boil a large pot of salted water until it shimmers. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes until al dente, then drain.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) while you generously coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Brown and crumble ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Discard excess grease.
  • Combine bell pepper, pasta sauce, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder with ground beef in a skillet. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Combine velvety sour cream, crisp green onions, and rich cream cheese in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Transfer the cooked spaghetti into the baking dish. Evenly distribute the cream cheese mixture on top, followed by the meat mixture, and finish off by sprinkling Cheddar Cheese over the top.
  • Bake covered in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
