Homemade spaghetti sauce with fresh tomatoes, onions, garlic, and herbs. Customize with veggies and fresh herbs for a delicious twist.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 0.5 small onion, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • 1 (28 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 4 teaspoons dried basil
  • 4 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan set over medium heat, sizzle the oil before adding in the onion, green onion, and garlic. Let them sizzle until the onions turn translucent, around 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Combine the tomatoes, basil, oregano, and sugar in the pot. Bring to a boil, then let it simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
  • Drizzle this delicious sauce over a bed of piping hot pasta.
