Ingredients:
  • 1kg frozen Plate Up Mashed Potato
  • 500g pkt regular beef mince
  • 1 brown onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled, cut into 1cm pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 44.40 gm Simply Tomato Paste
  • 45g (¼ cup) Traditional Gravy Mix
  • 48.80 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 80g (1/2 cup) frozen peas
  • 75g (1/2 cup) frozen corn kernels
  • 85g (3/4 cup) pre-grated pizza cheese
Instructions:
  • Transfer the mash to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat while stirring every 3 minutes for a total of 9 minutes until smooth and heated through.
  • Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook beef, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  • Place a colorful medley of onion, carrot, and garlic into the pan and sauté until the onion softens. Introduce the rich flavors of tomato paste and gravy mix and mix well. Incorporate Worcestershire sauce, peas, corn, and 375ml (1 1/2 cups) water. Simmer and stir gently until the sauce is velvety and delicious. Season to perfection.
  • Preheat the oven grill to high. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a 18cm (base size), 23cm (top size) pie dish. Top with mash, sprinkle with cheese, and grill for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Serve hot.
