Speedy Lasagna Supper

Impress a crowd with hassle-free lasagna, no noodle boiling or layering required!
Ingredients:
  • 2 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1 cup small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (12 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 can (12 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 1/3 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish. In a 10-inch skillet, brown the beef over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain excess fat.
  • 1. Start by creating a delicious layer with cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese in a baking dish. 2. Mix 2 cups of mozzarella cheese, Italian seasoning, and tomato paste with the beef, then spread the mixture evenly over the cheese layers in the baking dish. 3. In a separate medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients until well blended, then pour this mixture over the beef layer.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese on top and bake for an additional 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before cutting.
