Spiced Cranberry Chutney

Delicious cranberry chutney perfect for turkey or as a versatile snack with cheese and crackers.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1.5 teaspoons ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 tart apple, peeled and diced
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, combine cranberries, white sugar, brown sugar, water, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and allspice. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 20 minutes. Add apple and continue cooking and stirring until apple is tender and sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Chill in the refrigerator until cold.
