Spice up your wings with an Asian twist!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3-lb.) pkg. frozen chicken drummettes, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oriental chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F. Use paper towels to pat dry any excess moisture from the thawed drummettes. Place the drummettes in a large bowl and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with flour and toss to combine until crumbly. Transfer the mixture to an ungreased 15x10x1-inch baking pan, arranging the drummettes in a single layer.
  • Bake until golden brown and crispy, for about 40-45 minutes.
  • Transfer the browned drummettes into a 4 to 6-quart slow cooker using a slotted spoon. In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients well. Pour the sauce over the drummettes and toss gently to coat them evenly.
  • Cover and simmer on low heat for 1 to 2 hours.
