Upgrade your grilled chicken or ribs with a flavorful twist on classic BBQ sauce. You won't be disappointed with this irresistibly delicious recipe!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 (5 ounce) bottle hot pepper sauce
  • 1 (3 pound) chicken, cut into pieces
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat oil in a skillet and sauté onion and garlic until tender. 2. Stir in ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Fire up the grill to high heat.
  • Prepare the grill grate with a light coating of oil. Grill the chicken, continuously brushing with the sauce, for 8 to 15 minutes per side, adjusting based on the size of the piece, until the juices run clear. Remove any extra sauce.
