Spicy hot sauce adds flair to this savory egg, spinach, and bacon casserole, perfect for a satisfying weekend brunch.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/8 lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Frank's™ RedHot™ Original cayenne pepper sauce
  • 2 cups roughly chopped spinach
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and generously grease a 9-inch square (2-quart) baking dish.
  • Prepare the Hot Sauce Remoulade by mixing the ingredients in a small bowl; set aside.
  • Cook bacon in a 10-inch skillet over medium-low heat until the fat has melted. Add mushrooms, onion, and bell pepper and increase the heat to medium. Cook until the mushrooms are tender.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together Bisquick mix, milk, and eggs until smooth. Stir in 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, chopped spinach, cooked bacon, and vegetables. Mix well, then transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until the eggs are fully cooked. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes, then drizzle with hot sauce remoulade before serving.
