30-minute lime chicken skillet - perfect weeknight meal with rice and veggies.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2.25 teaspoons garlic powder, divided
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 0.125 teaspoon paprika
  • 0.125 teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions:
  • Combine salt, black pepper, cayenne, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, thyme, parsley, paprika, and onion powder in a small bowl. Generously season both sides of chicken breasts with the spice mixture.
  • In a large heavy skillet over medium heat, melt butter with olive oil. Sauté chicken until golden brown on each side for about 6 minutes. Sprinkle with the remaining 2 teaspoons of garlic powder and lime juice. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently to ensure chicken is evenly coated with the cooking juices.
