Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 350g spicy sausages (such as chorizo), meat removed from casings
  • 200g Swiss brown mushrooms or button mushrooms, chopped
  • 22.20 gm tomato paste
  • 100ml red wine
  • 410g canned chopped tomatoes
  • 125.00 ml semi-dried tomatoes
  • 4 large croissants
  • 250.00 ml grated tasty cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Sauté onions in oil until softened. Add sausage meat and mushrooms, cook until meat is browned. Stir in paste and wine, cook until wine reduces. Add tomatoes, simmer until thickened. Slice croissants, fill with mixture. Top with cheese and bake until melted. Serve with salad.
