Create a French-inspired beef dinner with savory Progresso® beef broth in just 25 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/4 cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from 32-oz. carton)
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic or red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1-lb beef boneless sirloin steak, about 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, whisk together broth, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, sugar, and garlic until well combined; set aside.
  • Prepare a 10-inch skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Sear the beef in the skillet for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping once, until it browns. Transfer the beef from the skillet and keep it warm.
  • Pour the broth mixture into the skillet and bring it to a boil. Let it boil for 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sauce is reduced to 1/3 cup. Remove from heat.
  • Slice the beef thinly at a slanted angle against the grain. Pour the sauce over the beef and garnish with parsley and a sprinkle of pepper.
