Elevate any event with these irresistible sweet and sticky chicken wings that will have guests begging for more.
Ingredients:
  • 2kg chicken wingettes
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) port
  • 115g (1/3 cup) plum jam
  • 40.00 gm caster sugar
  • 9.20 gm olive oil
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut each wingette in half at the joint using a sharp knife, then transfer them to a large bowl.
  • Combine the port, jam, sugar, and oil, ensuring everything is evenly coated. Season generously with salt and pepper before transferring the mixture to a large roasting pan.
  • Roast in a hot oven until golden brown and sticky, about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Take out of the oven.
  • Present the succulent sticky chicken wings on a platter and enjoy while hot.
