Juicy, zesty American pork ribs paired with sweet potato wedges and a fresh side salad.
Ingredients:
  • 800g American pork ribs
  • 130.00 gm tomato sauce
  • 89.10 gm hoisin sauce
  • 85.80 gm Hot Chilli Sauce
  • Sweet potato wedges, to serve (see note)
  • Salad leaves, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160°C and prepare a large baking tray by lining it with baking paper.
  • Cut each rack of ribs in half, then in a large bowl, combine tomato sauce, hoisin sauce, chili sauce, and garlic. Add the ribs and toss them until they are fully coated.
  • Place ribs in a single layer on a baking tray, keeping any leftover marinade aside. Cover with foil and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes. Uncover, raise temperature to 210°C, and continue baking for 20 minutes, basting with reserved marinade halfway through, until ribs are glazed and tender.
  • Take the ribs out of the oven, cut them into pieces, and serve alongside a fresh salad and crispy sweet potato wedges.
