Sweet chilli and ginger glazed pork ribs with Asian slaw

Indulge in sticky sweet chili ginger glazed pork ribs with a side of Asian slaw.
Ingredients:
  • 80ml sweet chilli sauce
  • 5cm-piece fresh ginger, peeled, cut into matchsticks
  • 42.00 gm soy sauce
  • 8 pork spare ribs
  • Steamed jasmine rice, to serve
  • 6.00 gm sesame seeds, toasted, to garnish
  • 80g bean sprout
  • 500.00 ml shredded Chinese cabbage (wombok)
  • 1 long red chilli, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 42.00 gm lime juice
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 5.30 gm soy sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix together sweet chili sauce, ginger, soy sauce, and garlic. Add in the pork and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for 1 hour.
  • Preheat the grill on high and line a large shallow baking tray with foil. Arrange the pork in a single layer on the tray. Grill for 5 minutes on each side until caramelized and sticky, brushing with any remaining marinade while cooking.
  • In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients for the Asian slaw.
  • Plate rice, slaw, and pork individually. Finish by sprinkling sesame seeds over each plate.
