Stilton & pear gnocchi

Ingredients:
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 large pear
  • a few sprigs of fresh flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 knob of unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
  • 50 g stilton
  • 400 g gnocchi
Instructions:
  • 1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pan. 2. Slice the garlic thinly, then cut the pear into 2cm slices after peeling and coring it. Finely chop the parsley leaves. 3. Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat and sauté the garlic until lightly golden. 4. Add the pear and cook until slightly softened. 5. Stir in crème fraîche and stilton until the cheese melts. 6. Cook gnocchi in boiling water for 2 minutes until they float, then transfer to the pan using a slotted spoon. 7. Add cooking water to sauce as needed. 8. Toss gnocchi to coat, season well, sprinkle with parsley, and serve.
