Impress guests with quick and easy cheesy palmiers - ideal French party appetizers ready in just 50 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 package (17.3-ounce size) frozen puff pastry (1 sheet), thawed
  • 1/2 cup shredded or crumbled Stilton cheese
  • 2 medium green onions, finely chopped (2 tablespoons)
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped red bell pepper
Instructions:
  • On a lightly floured surface, divide the pastry into 3 strips along the perforations. Gently roll them out to even thickness. Top each strip with cheese, onions, and bell pepper.
  • Score each strip down the middle lengthwise. Roll each side tightly towards the scored line, ensuring a 1/4-inch gap at the center, gently press down. Remove any excess flour with your fingers. Securely wrap in plastic wrap and chill for at least 30 minutes, but no more than 4 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Slice rolls into 1/4-inch pieces and place them 2 inches apart on the cookie sheet. Bake for approximately 10 minutes until they turn light golden brown. Serve either warm or at room temperature.
